GREER, Gerry – of Otisville, age 81, passed away November 22, 2017 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; his brother, Bruce Greer will officiate. Burial will be in Smith Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 AM until the time of the service on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Gerry was born in Pontiac, MI on October 30, 1936, son of Earl and Clarine (Thomas) Greer. He married Joyce Segur on December 26, 1992. Gerry was willing to help in any situation. He loved fishing and was a member of the Michigan Steelheaders. He retired from GM – Grand Blanc Tank Plant in 1992 where he was a die-setter.
Gerry is survived by his wife, Joyce; children, Sherry (James) Giacopelli, Gerry Greer, Rodney (Kathy) Greer, Jeffery (Annette) Stoutenburg, Kim (David) Jackson, Kevin (Cindy Gann) Stoutenburg, and Troy (Michelle) Wisenbaugh; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Bruce (Cathy) Greer, and Jim (Kathy) Greer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Clarine; daughter, Susan; granddaughter, Amber; brother, Larry.
