ROSS, James R. – of Flint, age 73, passed away January 29, 2018 at McLaren-Flint. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-3 & 5-8 PM Monday and 10 AM until time of service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation.
James was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas on March 31, 1944, son of the late Otto and Mary Lou (Taylor) Ross. He was a Forklift Driver at General Motors for many years.
James is survived by his wife, Wilma; children, Tina (Leroy) Jenkins and Tracey (Kevin) Coughlin; grandchildren, April, Amber, Ashley, Kayla, Tiffany and Whitney; great-grandchildren, Jacquelyn, Harper, Dan, Eli and Brantley; siblings, Jerry (Linda), Richard (Diane), Randy (Dawn), Deloris (Doug), Linda and Maryann; many nieces and nephews.
