Mary Elizabeth Younglove, 79, of Flint passed away peacefully on January 19, 2016 while under Hospice care at Kra-Nur Manor in Burton.
Mary was born on May 25, 1936 in Beetown, Wisconsin. Daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Brown) Dunnington.
Mary graduated from Sandusky High School in 1954. She attended Holy Family Catholic Church in Grand Blanc.
On June 1, 1955, she married Calvin Younglove. He preceded her in death on July 12, 1996.
Mary resided in Flint for sixty one years. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and baking. Mary worked at St. Joseph Hospital, retiring in 1994.
Mary is survived by her sons: Charles (Laurie) Younglove of Flint and John (Janet) Younglove of Flushing; grandchildren: Erica, Rocky, Scarlett, Cody, Bianca, Jonathon, Allissa, and Adam; ten great grandchildren and brother Neil (Carol) Dunnington of Mio.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Estella Fowler.
Funeral service for Mary will be 1 pm on Friday, January 22, 2016 at the MacAlpine Funeral Home in Bad Axe (302 N. Hanselman St.). Visitation will be on Friday, January 22, 2016 from 11 am until time of service. Cremation will take place at Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City and a spring burial will be held at Verona Township Cemetery.
Memorials may be offered to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
