REDMOND, Gary A. – of Davison, age 58, passed away December 29, 2014 at his family’s home in Davison. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 1 PM Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. Visitation will begin at 11 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Gary was born in Flint, MI on June 4, 1956, son of Clare and Ruth (Lavery) Redmond. Gary belonged to the Pi Rho Phi Hunting Club. He was a general contractor and a professional handy man. Gary enjoyed watching birds, hunting, fishing, all sports, camping and hanging out with his family. He also loved to tell a great joke and was a real “Ladies Man.”
Gary is survived by his sons, Aaron and Chad; mother, Ruth; brothers, Roger (Karen) Redmond, Ron Redmond, Bryan (Linda) Redmond, Mark Redmond and Brad Redmond; sisters, Joan Traxler and Lisa Redmond; 11 nieces and nephews; nine great-nieces and nephews; several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father, Clare; brother, Donald. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Pi Rho Phi Hunting Club and the staff of McLaren Hospice.
