Todd, Bernice of Flushing, age 94, died Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Western Hills Living. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, April 12, 2013 at St. Robert Catholic Church. Fr. Roy Horning will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Robert Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-4 and 6-9p.m. Thursday at Rossell Funeral Home and 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass Friday at church. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Robert Cemetery Pillar and Well Fund or Heartland Hospice.

Bernice was born in Flushing, Michigan on September 4, 1918, the daughter of Owen and Bertha (Chamberlain) Mulcahy. Bernice graduated from Flushing High School, attended business college and married Frederick James Todd on May 9, 1942 at St. Robert Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on October 2, 1999. After raising her family, Bernice worked in the accounting office at McLaren Regional Medical for 20 years and remained an active volunteer following her retirement. She enjoyed playing bridge, her many friends, relatives, and winters in Florida, and above all, her family.
Bernice is survived by three daughters, Martha Britton of Flushing, Kathleen and husband Howard Schwalbach of Flushing, Ruth and husband Rick Cawthray of Flushing; five grandchildren, Todd (Tracey) Schwalbach, Kristin (Sean) Kolodge, Mark (Lindsay) Schwalbach, Lindsye Cawthray, Andrea (Josh) Attwood and 8 great-grandchildren.
