Julie A. Dudzik age 59 of Durand passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Providence Park Hospital in Novi. A mass of the resurrection will be 10:30 AM Friday, August 2, 2019 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Durand. Arrangements are being handled by Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Durand Chapel.
Julie was a provider, a rock and all around sassy woman, just like her mother. As a wife, mother, daughter and friend, her opinions were loud and her love unending. She fought hard for all of her kids. Her doors and arms were always open to her adopted children. Throughout life she persevered. She encouraged her kids to be themselves, to break the mold and to bring their unique light to the universe. Through all her faults, she strived to make a good life for herself and those around her. Her impact on the world is more than she had ever realized. Her spirit lives on in her husband, Mark; her children, Rachel, Sara, Hanna and Grace; her father, David Thornton; her brother, David and her extended family and friends. She was preceded by her mother, Eleanor Thornton and her son, Zachary.
