RHOADES, Richard J. – Of Burton, age 65, died Friday, January 13, 2017 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 11am Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Visitation 11am-8pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery in Clio.
Richard was born in Flint on January 6, 1952.
On July 1, 1970, he married Diane Anderson in Flint, Michigan.
He enjoyed bear and deer hunting and playing Blue Grass music.
Surviving are wife, Diane;
son, Michael and wife Shannon;
daughters, Christy and husband Donald Tice II, and Collene and husband Jason Ketelhut;
grandchildren, Joey, Michael Richard, Ashley, Judy, Devon, Garrett, Izabelle, Nickoles, Kaden, Chloe and Jalen;
brothers, Bob and Mark;
and sister Charlene Steele.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and best friend, John Lugg.
