BEATTIE, Kalen Paul - Of Davison, age 29, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2020.
Private visitation and service will be held at the Swartz Funeral Home in Flint, Michigan.
Pastor Tom Mattiuzzo officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Kalen to Suicide Prevention.
Kalen was born in Flint on August 26, 1990, the son of Matthew and Kathleen (Barnett) Beattie. Kalen graduated with honors from Davison High School, Class of 2009. He had hoped to someday pursue a career in naturopathic health. Kalen loved spending time with his family, especially his niece, nephews and his dog, Abby. Kalen also enjoyed spending time outdoors and engaging in the videogame community. He was a natural comedian, always playing pranks and telling jokes.
Surviving are parents, Matthew and Kathleen Beattie;
brothers, Erik and wife Erin St. Marie, Jared Beattie and fiancee Allyson Gajsiewicz, and Austin and wife Julie Beattie;
niece, Sophia St. Marie;
nephews, Lincoln St. Marie and William Beattie;
aunts and uncles, Linda and Al VanBrocklin, John Beattie and Mary and Raymond Seymour;
many cousins, friends and his dog, Abby.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John W. and Maxine Beattie and Jacqueline and Paul Barnett.
