Edna Fuller
Age 89 of New Lothrop passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014 at the Medilodge of Montrose.
Funeral services will be held 1pm Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at New Lothrop First United Methodist Church with Pastor Lee Sayer officiating. Burial will follow at Elwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2 to 8pm with an Eastern Star service at 7pm.
Edna was born September 10, 1925 in Battle Creek, the daughter of George and Cecil (Smith) Dibble.
She graduated from Perry High School, class of 1943.
Edna was swept off her feet by Dolph D. Fuller; they were married in Corunna on March 10, 1943 and have celebrated more than 71 years of marriage.
She loved music and looked forward to playing the piano, listening to her favorite songs and dancing with her husband 2 to 3 times a week. Edna and her husband enjoyed traveling and had visited all 50 states in their time of travel. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Edna was a seamstress for friends and family and spent several years working at Universal Electric as well as being the Treasurer for Woodhull Township and the Village of New Lothrop for many years.
She is survived by her loving husband Dolph; daughter Judy (Tom) LIghthill; daughter-in-law Karen Fuller; grandchildren John (Robin) Fuller, Aaron (Jennifer) Lighthill, Ann (Paul) DeLano, Patrick (Stephanie) Fuller, Adrienne (Brian) Griffith and Amy Fuller; 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
Edna was predeceased by her son John, great-granddaughter Katie, great-grandson Jackson, 2 brothers and a sister.
The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of the Medilodge of Montrose for the loving care they gave to Edna.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the New Lothrop First United Methodist Church or the Medilodge of Montrose. |
