MILLER, Robert L., Sr. – of Flint, age 85, died Monday, April 4, 2016 at McLaren of Flint. Mass of Christian Burial in memory of Bob will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, April 8, 2016 at Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church, 230 E. Vienna St. in Clio. Fr. Kenneth Coughlin officiating. Burial to follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held in the Saints Charles and Helena Parish Hall on Thursday from 1-8 PM and in the church on Friday from 9:30 AM until time of Mass at 10:30 AM. A Vigil service will be held at 7 PM in the Parish Hall. Contributions may be made to the church.
Bob was born December 7, 1930 in Flint to the late Leslie T. and Nellie (Curran) Miller. He was a lifelong resident of the Flint area. Mr. Miller retired from Fisher 1 in 1980 with 31 years seniority. He was a member of Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church and the UAW. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving are: Sons: Robert Jr. (Joyce) Miller of Clio, Charles Miller of Flint, James Miller of Clio; 5 Grandchildren: Amanda, Daniel (Nicole) Robert III (Kimberly), Kelly and Allison; 6 Great Grandchildren; Brother, Raymond (Kathy) Miller of Flint; nieces and nephews.
