SCHRAMM, Paul B. - Of Grand Blanc, age 89, died Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Genesee Care Center.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Friday, June 30, 2017 at Court Street United Methodist Church, 225 West Court Street, Flint,
Reverend Christy Miller-Black officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery with military graveside service under the auspices of VFW Post #3087 Honor Guard.

Visitation 4-8pm Thursday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Masonic Service will be held 7pm Thursday evening at the funeral home. Visitation 12pm Friday at church until the time of the service.
Paul was born in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania on October 7, 1927, the son of the late William and Bertha (Olson) Schramm. On July 20, 1951, he married Lila Orris and she preceded him in death on August 24, 2009. Paul served his country during World War II in the United States Army. He was a former member of the Civil Air Patrol. He was recognized as an Honor Flight Hero. Paul retired from General Motors AC Spark Plug Division as a Staff Electrical Engineer. He was a member Court Street United Methodist Church for 66 years where he was a longtime active member in the Senior Choir. He was a Mason for 66 years. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge. Paul enjoyed boating, flying, traveling, singing, bowling, playing trumpet, golfing, and spending time with his family. Paul will be remembered for his bear hugs and great smile.
Surviving are children, Larry (Joyce) Schramm, Kim (Bob) Watson and Craig (Leslie) Schramm;
grandchildren, Karin (Jason) Kubacki, Rebecca Schramm, Jeff Schramm and Matthew Watson;
great-grandson, Clay Kubacki;
sister, Vivian Denton; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brothers, William and Robert Schramm, sister Vera Rodgers and special friend, Mary Salim.
