HART, Helen L. - Of Flint, age 78, died Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held 2pm Monday, July 25, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Reverend Harold K. Polk, Jr. officiating.
Burial in Mapleview Cemetery in Marion, Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
Visitation 12noon Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Helen was born in Crittenden County, Kentucky on April 26, 1938, the daughter of the late James and Juanita (Weldon) Hughes. Helen migrated to Michigan by way of Indiana through job opportunities. On May 29, 1971, she married Floyd E. Hart. Helen retired in 1998 after 32 years at Trinity Industries.
Surviving are husband Floyd;
Step-daughter and family, Melissa (Hart) Marc Rucinski and their children, Jaclyn and Jarod;
Sister-in-law, Jinni (John) Shinkle and their children, Stephani and her son, Dallas; Gretchen and her daughter, Ashlea;
Great-nephew, Justin.
She was preceded in death by nephew, Jon Shinkle.
