Berry, Toni R. of Flushing, age 62, died Monday, December 16, 2019, at McLaren-Flint. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, December 20, 2019, at Rossell Funeral Home. Pastor Bobby Price will officiate. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home until the time of the service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to North Flushing Baptist Church.
Toni was born in Flint, Michigan on August 26, 1957, the daughter of Roland and Audrey (Hunter) Sanford. She married Colon Berry on August 4, 1989. Toni was employed by General Motors for 31 years. After her retirement, she enjoyed working with her son, Ryan, at his business, Doodle Dog Bakery. She was a wonderful cook. Toni enjoyed gardening and working in her flower beds. She loved her beloved cats. Together with her husband, they were members of North Flushing Baptist Church.
Toni is survived by her husband of 30 years, Colon; son, Ryan; sisters, Teri and husband Gordon Wallace, Dana and husband John Nerychel; sister-in-law, Sheila Sanford; step-brother-in-law, Gary Berry; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Randy Sanford.
