> ADAMS-ROUNDTREE, Mrs. Marie-age 70, of Flint, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, June 9, 2016 with a 10:30 am family hour at Sheldon T. Banks Funeral Chapel 3021 S. Dort Hwy. Flint, MI 48507. Apostle Ruby Johnson officiating. Calling hours for Mrs. Adams-Roundtree will be Wednesday, June 8, 2016, from 12:00 noon - 6:00 pm at Sheldon T. Banks Funeral Chapel.

> Mrs. Marie Adams-Roundtree was born January 8, 1946 in Greenville, MS the daughter of the late Alzono and Anna-Lou Adams. In her early years she moved to Saginaw, MI where she was a long-time resident until 1970. Marie was employed by the State of MI and worked as a social worker for DHS for nearly 30 years. Later she retired as a Civil Rights Investigator. Marie was a member of the Red Hats Organization and was also a member of Oak Park Church before it's closing.

Claybrooks of Flint, MI; 1 grandchild, Jaysha Beeman-Orr of Flint, MI; 2 great-grandchildren, Devin Jaymes-Orr and Adrian Pointer; 1 brother, David L.(Manuli) Adams of Saginaw, MI; beloved sister and dear friend, Lavion Williams along with husband, Carl M. Williams of Saginaw, MI; 6 nephews, Jeffrey Adams, Carl Williams, Terrance Adams, Jaymon Adams, Zene Lawson, Unkozo Lawson all of Saginaw, MI; nieces, Kim Williams-Foster of Dallas, TX, Stephanie Granberry of Saginaw, MI, Carlene McNeal of Columbus, OH; great-niece, Kristi Williams-Smith of TX; aunts, Mrs. Annie Roberts and Mrs. Hazel Roberts both of Saginaw, MI; 3 cousins, Blondstine Jordan of Saginaw, MI, Grace Brooks and Joyce Jordan both of Detroit, MI; a host of other relatives and friends, including special friends, Cheryl Price-Dickson, Janie Shack and Marsha Porter-Carter.

> Mrs. Marie Adams-Roundtree was preceded in death by: husband, James L. Roundtree; father, Alonzo Adams: mother, Anna Lou Adams and brother, Douglas Adams.
