KISH, Esther – of Flint, age 86, passed away August 15, 2019 at Kra-Nur Manor. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, G-5199 Richfield Rd., Flint; Rev. Fr. Roy Horning celebrant. Burial will be in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Monday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the Mass on Tuesday at the church.
Esther was born in Bismarck Twp., MI on December 21, 1932, daughter of the late Henry and Margaret (Schepke) Dietlin. She married John E. Kish on May 12, 1956 in Flint, MI and he preceded her in death on August 30, 2016. Esther was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She owned and operated Kish Adult Foster Care Home in Otisville, MI of over 30 years.
Esther is survived by her children, Pamela Hazelief, Cheryl (Steve) Thomas, John (Pamela) Kish, Patricia Avila and Michelle (Kenneth) Lang; seven grandchildren; two great-grandsons; many other loving family member and friends. She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Amanda Bradley; brother, Henry Dietlin.
