WILLIAMS , Nina – of Davison, age 101, passed away June 17, 2015 at her residence. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Ron Austin officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-8 PM Friday and 10-11 AM Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hurley Children’s Hospital.
Nina was born in Essex, MO on April 24, 1914, daughter of the late Oscar and Dora (Lizenbee) Warren. She married Lannie Williams and they enjoyed 65 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on November 7, 2000. Nina was a charter member of First General Baptist Church and attended for 80 years. She was a hair stylist for more than 37 years. Nina was an avid reader, enjoyed quilting and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Nina is survived by her children, Barbara A. (Frank) White, Kenneth D. (Eloise Rife) Williams, Janice K. (Douglas) Bennett; nine grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; 3 sisters-in-law, Jessie Warren, Elsie Warren, Velma Poe. She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Gwen Williams; 4 brothers and 1 sister. The family would like to thank the staff at Genesys Neurological ICU and Medical Team Hospice.
