Richard Earl Ostrander, age 74, of Columbiaville died August 26,2 017 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Richard was born September 9, 1942 in Columbiaville to the late Vernon and Jean [Putman] Ostrander. He later married Darlene Staley on August 18, 1962 in Otisville.
Richard enjoyed classic cars and hotrods, he also enjoyed woodworking, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Richard is survived by his children: Vera (Herschel) Butterfield, Richie Ostrander, Susan (James) Kline, Charlotte (Glen) Jones, sibling: Mary (Larry) Marshall, 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Vernon, and wife Darlene.
Funeral service 12:00 PM on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville, where friends may visit 10:00 AM till time of service. Pastor Keith Mead officiating. Interment Wood Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Richard may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
