Harris, Daniel E. of Flint, age 75, died Monday, December 10, 2018, at his home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2018, at Rossell Funeral Home. Rev. Ronald Boggia will officiate. Cremation will follow the funeral service and interment of cremated remains will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be 12-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
Daniel was born in Flint, Michigan on December 14, 1942, the son of Ronald and Mildred (Reynolds) Harris. Daniel proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion Post # 310. He worked for Buick Motor Division for 38 years and was a member of Local #599. Daniel enjoyed golfing and bowling. He was a man with a strong Christian faith.
Daniel is survived by his daughter, Lori and husband Yousef Shelah; granddaughters, Sosanna and Sydnie Shelah; sisters, Judith Liska and Janet Jankowski; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ronald Harris and sister, Jean McCarty.
