LOVETT, Sally L. – Of Port Orange, Florida, formerly of Grand Blanc, age 73, died Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Sodalis Memory Center in Temple, Texas.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Cremation will take place following the service and remains will be interred at Flint Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Visitation 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Sally was born in Flint, MI on April 20, 1943, daughter of the late Russell and Bess Lovett.
Sally graduated from Central High School in 1961.
Sally was employed by Genesee Bank (Chase)for 36 years, until her retirement in 2001.
Sally moved to Port Orange, Florida, where she enjoyed playing golf, going to the beach and having many visitors.
Surviving are sister, Nancy English of Seneca, South Carolina;
Goddaughters, Jeniece and husband Chris Perry of Salado, Texas
Nicole and husband Mark Masters of Swartz Creek, Michigan;
their children, Samantha, Gaven, Katie, James and Brooke;
several nieces, nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell, Sr. and Bess Lovett; sister, Mary Jane Gilpatric; her brothers, Russell, Jr. and Jerry Lovett.
