PRICE, Lonnie – of Clio, age 80, died peacefully on Monday, November 18, 2024, at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 11AM on Friday, November 22, 2024, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Rev. Sarah Elliott officiant. Honoring his wishes, cremation will follow. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 4PM until 8PM and on Friday from 10AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Old Newsboys of Flint or the Genesee County Humane Society.
Lonnie was born January 20, 1944, in Flint, to the late Gurdon and Genevieve (Anderson) Price. He received his high school diploma from Clio High School with the class of 1962 and proudly retired out of Buick after 30 years of employment. On July 18, 1964, he married his beloved wife, Diana Walters, and together they just shared their 60th wedding anniversary. Lonnie was a quiet, reserved man who enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing, or keeping his hands busy with woodworking. He found peace in being at home and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Lonnie was a special man who can never be replaced, and he will be dearly missed by those who knew him.
Lonnie is forever remembered by: Wife, Diana Price; Children: Annette (Joe) Schultz, Amy (Jeff) Conlee, and Brad (Lynne) Price; Grandchildren: Christopher, Matthew (Megan), Skyler, Hallie, Evan, Ashley, and Keagan; Great Grandchildren: Levi, Kenzie, Jaeden, and Olivia; Siblings: Judy Storrs, Pam (Ron) Owens, and Rodney “Rod” Price; Brother-in-law, Allan Walters; Several nieces, nephews, extended family, and wonderful friends. Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents, Gurdon and Genevieve. |
