FLORES, Amanda Ruth – Of Davison, age 29, died Friday, February 24, 2012 at her residence. Funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Steve Wood officiating. Burial in Union Ridge Cemetery in Noxapater, Mississippi. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Special Olympics.
Visitation 3 p.m. Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Amanda was born in Flint, Michigan on September 6, 1982.
She loved dancing, listening to music, swimming and spending time with her family. Surviving are mother, Terry Flores; beloved father figure, Don Kutchey; sister, Elizabeth Flores; grandparents, James and Ruth Edwards of Noxapater, Mississippi; many aunts, uncles, cousins; special baby-sitter, Gabby; special cousins, Rachel and John; special uncle, Ron Edwards.
