SWARTWOUT, Robert L. "Bob" – of Clio, age 78, died Sunday, June 30, 2019 at his residence. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. No services are planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Bob was born June 3, 1941 in Flint, Michigan to the late Delmore and Bernice (Palmer) Swartwout. He graduated from Clio High School in 1959. Bob married Nancy Huntoon on July 14, 1961. She preceded him in death August 22, 2009. Mr. Swartwout retired from General Motors in 2003 with over 40 years seniority. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Clio Country Club.
Surviving are: Son, Bradley Swartwout; Daughter, Dawn (Francis) Belanger; Grandchildren: Scott Belanger, Eric (Arielle) Belanger, Trisha (Ron) Riddle, and Emily Belanger; 1 great grandson, Cullen Belanger; Sister, Janet Frappier.
