OWEN, Jimmie Farrell - Of Flint, age 83, died Friday, August 11, 2017 surrounded by his loved ones at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Cremation has taken place and private services have been held.

Jimmie was born in Rosebud, Arkansas on June 14, 1934, the son of the late Arvil and Clarice (Boyd) Owen. Jimmie retired from General Motors Manufacturing “Chevy in the Hole” after 47 years of service and was a proud member of UAW Local #659, home of the “Sit-downers”. In March of 2000, he married Sue Locke in Flint, Indiana. He was a member of Hope United Methodist Church and his hobbies included collecting memorabilia.
Surviving are daughter, Jamie and husband Ron Pagel;
Sons, Kris and wife Mary Owen, Philip and wife Stephanie Locke and Al and wife Dee Robertson;
Grandchildren, Karen Varner, Lisa Rogers, Ron Pagel Jr., Kristopher and Breanna Owen, Parker and Paige Locke and Michael and Ryan Robertson;
and many great-grandchildren.
