TYREE, Herman D. “Bud” – of Flint, age 76, died Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Hill Creek Church of God, 5363 Hill Rd. in Swartz Creek. Bishop Jeffrey S. Lambert officiating. Visitation will be at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Wednesday from 1-8 PM and at the church on Thursday from 11 AM until time of services at 1 PM. Contributions may be made to Hill Creek Church of God or the family.
Bud was born December 11, 1939 in Caraway, AR to the late Ray and Beula (Leaf) Tyree. He was a Flint area resident since 1953. Bud worked for Muffler Man for over 35 years. He enjoyed playing his guitar, writing music, hunting and fishing.
Surviving are: Children: Joann (William) Lincoln of Flushing, John Tyree of Flint, David Tyree of Springfield, LA, Tomas (Sarah) Tyree of Flushing; 19 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; lifelong friend (brother) James Christensen of Clio; brother, Vernon (Joan) Tyree of Swartz Creek; sister, Louise Smith of Burton; many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by: Brothers and Sisters: Wanda Collingsworth, Geneva Keeler, Bonnie Fae Rau, James Tyree and Ray Tyree.
