MANSOUR, Frances Hope – Of Fenton, age 78, died Saturday, August 13, 2011 at her residence. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church, 4133 Calkins Road, Flint, her nephew, Bishop Gregory Mansour officiating. Cremation will take place following the Mass. Those desiring may make contributions to Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church. Visitation 3-8 p.m. Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. An Incense Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Mansour will be at the church from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the Mass. Frances was born in Flint, Michigan on November 29, 1932, the daughter of William and Viola (Honkavarra) Fitzpatrick. On August 3, 1957 she married Gerald Mansour in Flint. She was a former member of the Altar Society at Holy Rosary and Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church and was also in the choir. She was a Girl Scout Leader at Holy Rosary for many years. Surviving are husband, Gerald; two children, Michelle and husband Ben Maltese of Naples, Florida and Gerald, Jr. of Fenton; grandchildren, Rachael, Gabriel, Nicholas, Ariana and Karenna; many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Mansour was very dedicated to her children and grandchildren and the Mansour family will greatly miss her. Your condolences may be shared with the family at www.swartzfuneralhomeinc.com.
