Walker, Nickolas L. of Flushing, passed away Friday, June 3, 2011 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, at Rossell Funeral Home. Rev. Dr. Mary Lloyd will officiate. Burial will follow at Flushing Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Nickolas was born in Flint, Michigan on May 17, 1953, the son of the late Fred and Margaret (Fejes) Walker. Nick was a God-loving man and a father and friend to many. He loved spending his time with his family. Nick enjoyed flying and drumming. He supported his family through his work at General Motors at the Lake Orion-Pontiac plant.
Nick is survived by his children, Jennifer and husband David Wagner, Lisa and husband Shawn Welsby, Katie and husband Al Argillander, Laura Walker, Nickolas and wife Rachel Walker, Neil Walker; grandchildren, Jacqueline, Alissa, Kayla, Anthony, Nicholas, Aislinn, Christian, Korin and Maddi; mother, Margaret; siblings, Lorraine and Harley Sewell, William “Bill” and Diane Walker, Frederick “Tom” and Ramona Walker. |
