SIEGRIST, Michael J. “Mike” - of Birch Run, age 56, died Friday, August 14, 2020 at his residence with his mother and brother, Leo by his side. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place. A private family service will be held at a later time.
Mike was born on November 27, 1963 in Standish, Michigan the son to Kenneth and Joan (Arquette) Siegrist. He grew up most of his life in Birch Run where he also attended school. For many years he worked alongside his brother Leo in the construction industry. He enjoyed working on small engines, whether it be on cars, snowmobiles or quad runners. He was an avid hunter and was huge fisherman. He also loved riding quad runners and going to the Upper Peninsula for memorable snowmobile trips. Mike was a very giving person, who liked helping anyone out whenever he could.
Surviving are; his beloved mother, Joan Nisner; loving brother of: Leo Siegrist, Sam (Danielle) Nisner and Mary (Jim) Casslle. Also survived by 9 nieces and nephews, many cousins and extended family. He is preceded in death by: Father, Kenneth Siegrist; Brother, Matthew “Karl” Siegrist and stepfather, John Nisner.
