WINTERS, Audrey Louise- Age 90, of Linden, formerly of Holly, died Friday, January 6, 2017. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 11 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad Street, Linden. Burial will follow in Rose Center Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10 AM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
Audrey was born May 21, 1926 in Pontiac, the daughter of Albert P. and Huldah Mae (Skinner) Hudson. She married Walter W. Winters on November 22, 1946 and he preceded her in death on September 26, 1989. She worked as a Michigan Bell telephone operator and retired as an EKG tech from Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital. Audrey loved wildlife. She also loved traveling and was always ready for new travel adventures.
Audrey is survived by her four children, Lavona Kelly of Ann Arbor, Nancy (Dennis) Koenig of Traverse City, Kathleen (Dale) Plummer of Linden and John Winters of South Rockwood; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; four siblings, Ed (Dorine) Hudson, Betty Hagadone, Alberta Clement and Aaron Hudson; sisters-in-law, Cathy Hudson, Arlene Helvie, Virginia Covert and Joy Stevens; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Kerry Kelly; siblings, Evelyn and Leon Hudson.
