Vickie Lynn (Woldt) Boesnecker
Frankenmuth, MI

Vickie Lynn Boesnecker, 57, of Frankenmuth, Michigan, went to live with her Lord in Heaven on Sunday, May 1st, 2016, surrounded by those she loved most. She was born to Ronald and Janet (Johnson) Woldt on September 5th, 1958, in Saginaw, Michigan. Both parents preceded her in death. Vickie graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1976 and continued her education at Saginaw Valley State University, where she earned her bachelors degree along with one of the Nursing School’s first graduating classes in 1981. Vickie began her career in Saginaw as a Registered Nurse at St. Luke’s Hospital and, after nearly thirty years of dedicated service, retired from Covenant Healthcare’s Wellness Department in January of this year. In 2003, she married Kenneth Boesnecker – combining their lives and families together in Frankenmuth. Vickie always put her family first and cherished the time she spent with them. She enjoyed tending her garden, shopping trips to New York City and annual get-togethers on the familiar shores of Lake Huron. She and her sister, Tammy Bunker, who also precedes her in death, shared a particular love for hunting the best Petoskey stones on the beach each summer – they had no equal. Friends and family will remember Vickie for her spunk, incredible smile, infectious laugh, original sense of humor, selfless nature and wholehearted kindness.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Boesnecker; three sons, Aaron (Angela) Lerash, Brent Lerash and Chad Lerash (Amanda Heyse); step-children Jillian Boesnecker and Amanda Montgomery (Billy); grandson, Noah Lerash; step-granddaughters, Gracie and Meghan Freeman; two brothers, Steven (Barbara) Woldt and Gregory (Pamela) Woldt; nieces, Tiffany Windish, Alicia (Bill) Scott, and Melissa Woldt; nephews, Travis Windish, Cody Woldt, and Erich Woldt; cousin, Mira (Greg) Edgerton; and Uncle, Charles (Ruth) Johnson.
