SEPANAK, Ervin John - Age 83, of Swartz Creek, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 19, 2015. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Saturday, April 25, 2015 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Rd., Swartz Creek with Fr. Louis Ekka celebrant. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12-4 and 6-9 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek where a scripture service will be held at 7 PM Friday night. Visitation will also be held 10 AM -11 AM Saturday at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Ervin was born December 20, 1931 in Detroit, the son of John and Irene (Murawski) Sepanak. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Warren and attended DeVry Institute in Chicago. Ervin was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving from 1950-1953. He married Ardis J. Williams on November 21, 1953 and she preceded him in death on July 28, 1996. Ervin resided in Swartz Creek for 58 years and was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Surviving are: seven children, Deborah (Michael) Marcus of Byron Center, Bruce (Virginia) Sepanak of Swartz Creek, Brian Sepanak of Swartz Creek, Craig (Kristin) Sepanak of Flushing, Elaine (Steve) Lynn of Durand, Marcia (Eric) Keller of Metamora, Douglas Sepanak of Grand Blanc; 30 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; sister, Lorraine Tucker of New Baltimore; many nieces and nephews; special friend and love, Shirley Horton. He was also preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Delphine Savon, Diane Socha and Geraldine LeClair; and grandson, Rodney Sepanak.
