KOPPELBERGER, Margaret L. – age 85 of Flint, MI died peacefully on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at her residence. The family will receive visitors from 11:30AM-1:30PM on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Brown Funeral Home – 1480 E. Hill Rd. Grand Blanc, MI. Interment will immediately follow at Flint Memorial Park. Margaret was born on August 30, 1930 in Bay City, MI to the late William and Louise (Schultz) Kremski. She married Harold Lee Koppelberger on February 4, 1950 in Flint, MI. Margaret loved gardening, fishing with her husband Harold, morel hunting, and camping. She also enjoyed traveling, some of her vacation spots being South Padre Island, TX and Italy. Margaret had a great sense of humor. She was quick-witted, energetic, and feisty. Surviving are her children, Lisa (Bill) Salopek, Anne (Doug) Cole, and Amy Kolberg; grandchildren, Alexa McAvinchey, Collin McAvinchey, Matthew Salopek, Sarah (Aaron) Williams, Lauren McAvinchey, Ingrid Ostby, Kristin (Patrick) Ostby-Hoyle, Kira Curtis, and Justin (Cynthia) Kolberg; great-grandchildren Jack and Madelyn Kolberg, Tucker Williams, Sammy Williams, and baby Hoyle expected to arrive in January; brother, John (Beatrice) Kremski; sisters, Betty Chervus Hedstrom, and Marion Myers; daughter-in-law, Lori Koppelberger; and many other loving nieces and nephews. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to Margaret’s neighbors, Edith and Dick Dippery and Debbie and Chris Kremlich. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harold Lee Koppelberger; son, Scott Koppelberger; and brother, Ronald Kremski.
