COLEMAN, Lamar Morris - Age 76, of Fenton, died Sunday, June 21, 2020. Services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Deacon Ron Kenney officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 AM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society.
Lamar was born April 22, 1944 in Nashville, TN, the son of Edgar and Helen (Hester) Coleman. He married Joyce Ann Zajac June 26, 1971 in Allen Park and she preceded him in death July 31, 2019. He had resided in Fenton since 1976, coming from Brownstown. He retired in 2017 from Classic Precision in Wixom after 30 years of service. Lamar was a member of the Highland Moose Lodge #2370.
Surviving are: 3 children, Lynn (David) Freeman of Linden, Barbara Robinson of Fenton, and Marc Coleman of Fenton; grandchildren, Brady, Gabrielle, Chase, Ashley, Erica, Cassandra, and Cody; nieces and nephews; and his friends at Red Dog Saloon in Milford.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Kurpieski; and brother, Douglas Coleman. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
