Richard was born March 21, 1956 in Flint the son of Richard W. and Dorothy (Madden) Kritlow. He was a 1974 graduate of Ainsworth High School and then Purdue University in Mechanical Engineering. Richard had worked for Zitas. Richard is survived by his son, Jack; grandson, Elliot; parents, Richard and Dorothy; 6 sisters, Deborah Wentz, Nancy (Rick) Butler, Susan Kritlow-Miller (Mark Miller), Janet Kritlow, Kathy Haney, Patty (Greg) Howard; several nieces and nephews.
