Theda M. Olds, age 92, of Burton, Michigan passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024. Theda was born on August 15, 1931, in Hazen, Arkansas, to the late James and Lena (Haynes) Tippitt. For many years, she was a faithful member of Regency Baptist of Port Richey, Florida. Theda loved doing her crossword puzzles and watching The Golden Girls. Above all, she was a God-fearing woman. Theda was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Theda leaves to cherish her memory her daughters Robin P. Hisaw, Marsha S. (Karen) Olds and Jill (David) Tate; grandchildren Chad, Jason and Adam Hisaw, Bruce and Morgan Olds, and Devin and Caitlyn Tate; and ten great-grandchildren.
Theda was preceded in death by her beloved husband of thirty-five years Neil Olds, sons Steven and Michael Olds, son-in-law Ralph Hisaw, parents James and Lena Tippitt, and sisters Juanita Draheim, Erlene Theakston and Martha Holmes.
A visitation for Theda will be held Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home - 1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan. A funeral service will occur Friday, May 31, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Brown Funeral Home, with a one hour of visitation prior. Theda will be laid to rest at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint, Michigan.
In honor of Theda, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. |
