ANDRES, Ruth Ann. – of Montrose, age 78, died Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at McLaren – Flint. Funeral services will be held at 1PM Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. Cremation to follow. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11AM until the time of service at 1PM. Inurnment will be held in Montrose Township Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Ruth was born September 1, 1940 in Chesaning, Michigan to the late John and Frances (Ralph) Flory. She married James L. Andres Sr., on February 7, 1959. He preceded her in death on March 4, 2007. Ruth was a nurse’s aide for 8 years. She was a member of Colonial Hills Baptist Church in Mt. Morris. Ruth enjoyed events at the Montrose Senior Center, camping, flowers, birds, and playing Bunco. Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving are: Son, James (Elaine) Andres Jr.; Grandchildren: Jimmy (Jessica) Andres, and Stacy (Mike) Niewiadomski; Great grandchildren: Alonzo, Landin, Jeremy, Alonna, Aria, and James Andres; Sister, Virginia (Wilber) Schneider; Sisters in law: Marilyn Flory, Darlene (Robert) White, and Sue Andres; Brother in law, Tom Andres; Several cousins, nieces, nephews, and other loving family members. Ruth was also preceded in death by her daughter, Connie Marie Andres; Sisters: Arlene Larner, Nina LeCureux, and Marge Hasse; Brother, Don Flory.
