HAWLEY, Eileen M. - Of Swartz Creek, age 89, died Thursday, August 17, 2017 at her residence.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 12pm Thursday, August 24, 2017, at St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church, 9252 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, Father Gene Geromel officiating.
Memorial visitation will be held at 11am Thursday at the Church until the time of the Mass.
Burial will be at the Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date.
Eileen was born in Lennon, Michigan on January 14, 1928, the daughter of the late William and Dorothy Reimel. On May 9, 1950, she married Ronald Hawley. She was an active member of St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church in Swartz Creek and was a past member of the Altar Guild.
Surviving are her husband, Ronald, son, Lee, sisters Peggy (Reimel) Abrams & Gloria (Reimel) Harding.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Nelson, Jerry, and Wilbur Reimel.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church or a charity of your choice.
