RODABAUGH (HUYCK), Marie Ellen – Of Flint, age 85, died Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 2 P.M. Sunday, September 29, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Visitation 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. Saturday and 12 p.m. Sunday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Marie was born in Flint, Michigan on March 31, 1939, the daughter of the late Clarence and Eva (Couillard) Huyck.
Marie was a member of the VFW Post #3720 Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, working on crossword puzzles, yard work, shopping and Chinese food.
Marie was feisty, kind and very generous.
Surviving are daughter, Penny and husband Steve Cross;
6 grandchildren, Traci and husband Brad Dean, Sarah and husband Randy Moss, Stephanie Cross, Mary Cross, Jennifer and husband BJ Bailey, Nicholas and wife Jessica Piper;
great-grandchildren, Austin, Seth, Brooklynn, Vincent, Josette, Rose, Mark, Huxley, Hardy, Harrison and Hatton;
several nieces and nephews;
dear friend, Vicky Tilly and kind neighbors, Jeannie, Jen and William.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Terri and husband Dennis Young; 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
