Thacker (Cheshire), Virginia Louanne “Jenny” - of Clio, MI, formerly of Montrose MI, age 72, went home to be with Jesus and the love of her life Thursday October 24, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held at Crossroads Temple Church of God, 1073 N. Elms, 1pm Monday October 28 2013, Reverend Donnie Eagle officiating. Friends may arrive at the church starting at 12 Noon with the service beginning at 1 PM. Burial will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly Mi. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Crossroads Temple Church of God.
Virginia was born May 31, 1941 in Bragg City Missouri to the late Loy Andrew and Claudia Evelyn (Dye) Cheshire. She married George Thacker May 21, 1977 in Montrose Michigan. He preceded her in death on September 19, 2009. Mrs. Thacker was a member of Crossroads Temple Church of God.
Surviving are: Vicki Herrick/Ben Clarkson, Tammy Little/Dan Kotsko, Jeff (Karen) Beatley; Grandchildren; Sara McPherson (Little), Brent (Amy) Little, Scott (fiancé Heather) Little, Chad (Jeanie) Herrick, Courtney (Ryan) McNab, Cassie Herrick, Kyle Beatley, and Ryan Beatley; Siblings, Joe (Dort) Cheshire, Linda (Wayne) Zander, Debbie (Ted) Ford, Diane (Terry) Byers, Lana (Don) McNiel; Sister in Law, Patsy Coffman (Cheshire); Many nieces and nephews.
