DUVERNOIS, Gloria Dawn – age 78 of Flushing, MI passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Specialty Select Hospital in Flint, MI. A memorial gathering will take place on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 11:30AM. A Memorial Service will begin at 12:30PM at Reigle Funeral Home – Sunset Chapel – 5501 W. Pierson Rd. Flushing, MI. Father Jay Gantz officiating. Burial will take place at Flint Memorial Park in Mt. Morris, MI. Gloria was born on October 30, 1937 in Flint, MI to the late Millard Birch and Maxine (Marcotte) Dunham. She was raised in the Genesee County area where she met and married her husband James Duvernois. Together they settled in Flushing to raise their family. Gloria drove bus for Flushing Community Schools for several years. She also cooked many good meals over the years and almost everyone who came around ended up eating her homemade chocolate fudge. Gloria loved playing euchre, and when she wasn’t doing that she was playing Scrabble and rummy with her daughter, Jackie. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and going to family get-togethers. Gloria is loved and will be deeply missed. She is survived by her daughters, Dawn (Mark) Brasier, Jacqueline Lambertson, Yvonne (Scott) Mulcahy; son, Doran Duvernois; grandchildren, Ryanne (Gary) Kross, James, Andrew (Sean), and Jeremiah Brasier, Wade (Daniy), and Brock Lambertson, Cody, Laci, and Sadah Duvernois; great-grandchildren, Hailey, Nathan, Lainey, and Lincoln, many friends , and her special friend Chrissy.
