LANCUSKI, Walter L. – Of Burton, age 82, died Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at the Regency at Grand Blanc.
Cremation has taken place and a military service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI.
Walter was born in Green County, Pennsylvania on June 12, 1931, the son of Adam and Veronica Lancuski.
He served in the U.S. Army in Korea.
On December 12, 1954 he married Janet Ashby in Flint.
He was a member of UAW, Local #326 and the American Legion Red Arrow Post.
Mr. Lancuski worked at GM Ternstedt Plant for more than 26 years.
Surviving are wife, Janet;
son, Barry and wife Anna;
granddaughter, Trisha (Nathan) Hardy;
two great-granddaughters, Madelyn and Mallory;
great-grandson, Marcus;
sister, Frances Bane.
He was preceded in death by his brother, William.
