Ruby VanHorn
Age 80 of Chesaning, formerly of Owosso, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Comfort Care Assisted Living.
Graveside services will be held at a later date at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Ruby was the daughter of Lynn and Myrtle (Burwell) VanHorn, born in Owosso, Michigan on January 20, 1940.
Ruby worked in housekeeping at Pleasant View for years and had also worked at Strawsine Mfg in Corunna.
She was a graduate of Owosso High School and took several college courses.
Ruby loved to read and solve crossword puzzles.
Ruby is survived by her sister, Helen (Robert) Wright; brother, Ross (Charlotte) VanHorn; several nieces and nephews; close friends, Carol Rae and Laurie Potter and other loving family and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents; brother and his wife, Max and Fanny Morrice; long time friend, William Ashmead.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Activities Fund at Pleasant View.
