SUTTLE, Ivan Eugene - Age 88, of Flint, died Thursday March 26, 2020. A private family service will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Ivan was born August 5, 1931 in Red Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, the son of Sherman G. and Glenna I. (Copeland ) Suttle. Mr. Suttle married Dorothy Graham in Hinton West Virginia on November 29, 1952. Ivan Proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked for General Motors V-8 plant from 1958 to 1995 with over 30 years of service. Ivan enjoyed woodworking and was an automobile and Ford tractor enthusiast.
Surviving are thirteen children, Sharon Saldana, Diana (Ken) Kennedy, Irene (Larry) Garza, Pam (Tim) Elleman, Paula (Chuck) Thomas, Becky (Tony) Mata, Adrian Suttle, Allen (Sarah) Suttle, Timothy (Robert) Suttle, Dennis (Kathy) Suttle, Denise Suttle, James (Teresa) Suttle, Sherman (Mary) Suttle; daughter-in-law, Cathy Suttle; many grandchildren; great- grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Dorothy Suttle; sons, Howard Suttle, Michael Suttle; brothers, Kyle, Dennis, Bill, Freeman and Oscar Suttle; and sisters, Ene Cantebury and Leona Lane.
