REID, Gladys - Of Grand Blanc, age 79, died Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held 11am Saturday, December 22, 2012 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Jim Reid and Reverend Steven G. Reid co-officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation 6-8pm Thursday and 12-8pm Friday at the funeral home.
Gladys was born in Flint on October 21, 1933. Gladys was dedicated to her family.
Surviving are daughter, Kathy Reid of Flint;
Sons, Jim and wife Bridget of Swartz Creek, Daniel of Arizona, Steven G. and wife Kelly of Atlanta, Georgia, Kevin of Flint, Brian and David both of Grand Blanc, Anthony "Tony" and wife Jackie of Grand Blanc;
grandchildren, Warren, Danna, Rachael, Chuck, James, Jeremy, Nicole, Stephen, Heather, Holly, Alexis, Tyler, Hannah, Paige and Garrett;
great-grandchildren, Bret, Pierce and Natalee;
brother, James of New Mexico;
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James in 2001, four sisters, Agnes, Olive, Goldie and Isabelle; grandson, Christopher and Brenda Hamp, mother of grandson, Tyler.
