PREVO, Patricia Ann (Davis) – of Flint, age 82, passed away March 2, 2013 at Hurley Medical Center. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12:00 PM Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, G-5199 Richfield Rd., Flint; Rev. George Puthenpeedika celebrant. Burial will follow in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Wednesday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. A Rosary will be prayed 6:30 PM Wednesday. A Memorial Service, under the auspices of the Daughters of Isabella, Regina Coeli Circle, will be held at 7 PM. On Thursday, there will be visitation at the church for one hour prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church or to the family.
Patricia was born in Wilmington, Ohio on June 6, 1930. Patricia Ann Davis married Lawrence Lee Prevo in 1950 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Flint. They were married for more than 62 years until Lawrence preceded her in death on February 19, 2013. Mrs. Prevo was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and the Daughters of Isabella. While raising her family, she was often found volunteering at their school and sports activities. After raising her seven children, Patricia went on to a second career as a tour guide. She enjoyed bingo and playing the lottery.
Patricia is survived by her children, Raymond (Susan), Larry (Anne), Fred (Barbara), Loretta Prevo Hayden, Michael (Theresa), Sherry Ann Wolosonowich and Jerry (Susan); 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary and Leatha; sister-in-law, Janet Prevo. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, William Wolosonowich Jr.; brother, Lawrence “Bud”; sisters Donna, Kate and Veda May.
