FLORIA, Mary A. - Of Swartz Creek, age 90, died Thursday, May 10, 2018 at her residence.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton, Father Steve Anderson officiating.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to a charity of one’s choice.
Visitation 2-8 p.m. Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Mrs. Floria will be at the church from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the Mass.
Mary was born in Flint, Michigan on February 3, 1928.
On June 2, 1951 she married Michael Floria and they were married 68 years.
She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and the Ladies Auxiliary.
She loved to dance; enjoyed bowling, entertaining her card club friends and loved doing crafts and golfing.
Surviving are husband, Michael;
children, Michael Floria and Mark (Kelly) Floria;
grandchildren, Michael, Jamie, Madison and Nicholas;
great-grandchildren, Mia, Macie, Elizabeth and Hazel;
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Debbie Floria-Fusi; sister, Catherine; brothers, Mike, Jerry and Tony.
