Pray, Robert “Bob” – of Clio, age 70, passed away Friday, November 15, 2024, at his residence surrounded by family. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place. No services at this time.
Bob was born in Flint, MI on April 17, 1954, to the late Jack and Carol (Mauldin) Pray. Bob was a proud graduate of Northwestern High School Class of 1972. On August 19, 1989, he married the love of his life, Teresa Szecsodi, sharing over three decades of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Bob dedicated 32 years of his life to his work at Wpm Inc and CJ Rodger as a laborer, finally retiring in 2009. A proud member of the 1075 Labors union, Bob found joy in the camaraderie and friendships he built over the years. Outside of work, Bob was a familiar face at Mike and Tom's Bearly Sane Bear Camp and the Hunting Harrington Man Cave, where his presence lit up the room and filled it with laughter. In his free time, Bob found peace in mowing his grass and enjoying a well-deserved adult beverage. However, his greatest joy came from being a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His kindness, humor, and unwavering support will be dearly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
Surviving are: Wife, Teresa Pray: Children: Misti (Todd) Husted, Matt (Toni) Szecsodi, Chaz (Alison) Pray, Tanner (Tyler) Pray; Grandchildren: Kaleb, Makenzie, Ashley, Brenalyn, Leo, Teagan, Tinley, and Charlotte, with one grandchild due in March, and one Great grandchild due in November; Siblings: Cody Sanford, Tom Pray, David Pray. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Carol Pray; Grandparents: Thomas (Edith) Mauldin, Loretta (Clifford) Pray; Brother-In-Law, Dave Sanford; Granddaughter, Chloe Rose Szecsodi.
