WRIGHT, David – of Davison, age 72, passed away May 10, 2015 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. Cremation will take place following the service. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12-3 & 5-8 PM. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
David was born in Lapeer, MI on October 16, 1942, son of the late James and Mary (Krantz) Wright. David married Marilyn Smith on June 22, 1963. He worked for GM and retired in 2008 after 47 ½ years of service.
David is survived by his wife, Marilyn; children, Jane Wright-Carpenter and Alan (Carolynn) Wright; grandchildren, Joshua, Angela, Meredith, Courtney and Joseph; sisters, Helen Day and Karen Middleton; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brother, Jack Wright.
