Patricia E. Brain of San Diego, CA, formerly of Flint, MI, died March 2, 2015 in CA. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2015 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 711 S. Saginaw St., Flint, MI. Family will receive visitors from 12 Noon until time of service Friday. Pastor Mark Whittaker officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Patricia resided in the Flint area from ages 5-60, attended Michigan State University and received her Bachelors Degree in Education in 1951. Patricia earned her Masters in Library Science in 1960 from the University of Michigan. She was a teacher and librarian for 35 years with the Flint Schools, retiring to San Diego in 1985. Patricia was an active member of All Saints Church, Love Uniting Volunteers and volunteered at St. Paul's Healthcare Center. She also enjoyed golf and bowling. Donations may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
