Connie was born on July 24, 1940, in Kokomo, Indiana, to Gene and Sybil (Berry) Hawkins, who preceded her in death. On June 3, 1960, she married the love of her life, Loren Hopkins. Connie cherished her roots, graduating from Kearsley Community Schools in 1958.

Her career spanned 33 years as an elementary secretary with Genesee Schools, a role she embraced wholeheartedly until her well-deserved retirement. Summers were spent at Holiday Shores in Mears, MI, relishing the beauty of Silver Lake Sand Dunes, while winters brought warmth and joy to her at Polo Park in Davenport, Florida.

A devoted Michigan Football enthusiast, Connie proudly cheered for her beloved Wolverines—Go Blue! However, her greatest love was reserved for her husband, daughters and grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure-to the moon and back.

Connie's smile, kindness, dedication, and love for her family and community leave an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Constance is survived by her loving husband, Loren; children, Patricia (Dean) Paquette, Vicki (Steve) Hawkins, Lynn Rae Hopkins, Lori (Adam) Mudge; grandchildren, Taylor (Tim Sando) Paquette, Morgan (Ben) Picard, Lance (Claudia Moore) Hawkins, Andrew (Ella Rising) Hutchins, Gabrielle (Kyle Yount) Paquette, Dominic Paquette; great grandchildren, Nixon and Vera Yount; brother, Ronald (Cindy) Hawkins; special aunt, Pat Triffon and many special nieces and nephews; friends who she loved like family at Holiday Shores and Polo Park, Genesee Community and thousands of children who were blessed with Connie as their secretary. She was preceded in death by mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mabel and William Page, sister-in-law, Janet (Tom) Dowd; brother-in-law, Wayne (Sharon) Page.
