LOWE, Jewell – age 73 passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016 in Grand Blanc, MI. A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, March 28, 2016 from 12 PM – 4 PM with a memorial service at 4 PM at Brown Funeral Home – 1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc, MI 48439, with Pastor William Gross officiating. Jewell was born in Oreton County, Tennessee on October 7, 1942 to the late Dennis and Edna (Denton) Richardson. Jewell spent over 20 years working for Sears, but her real passion was her love of flowers. She spent many creative moments tending to her magnificent floral garden in the backyard. On December 20, 1986, Jewell married Morris “David” Lowe and together they created a home filled with laughter and most importantly, love. Jewell is survived by her husband: Morris “David” Lowe; children: Denny (Lillian) Thomas, Teresa (Dave) Paul, and Rita Thomas; step-daughter: Dawn (Greg) Wright; step-son: David Lowe; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; two aunts; three uncles; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and her furry best friend: Peppy. She was preceded in death by; her parents: Dennis and Edna Richardson; mother-in-law: June Eanes and father- in-law: Jim Lowe.
